Great shakes and burgers! My husband lives the chili dogs. It has been extremely busy since the city announced it wanted to close it down by eminent domain to use for parking lot (?!?!) Expect a wait but it is worth it
Every time I visit my hometown, I have to stop by the Dairy O. It's been a staple since I can remember. I always go with the chili dog which is simple but delicious. The service is always nice and the line is usually around the block. It may look like a hole in the wall but the food is great. Every time I go home, I have to grab something from the Dairy O.
A major staple for Orangeburg. One of my favorite places to dine at back in the day. They are always crowded in the drive thru, but luckily the lobby is open. Down home cooking like your grandma used to do back in the day. They offer hotdogs, curly burgers (patty w/pimento cheese), BBQ sandwiches, and fries. Various baskets such as liver and gizzards as well as fish and shrimp baskets. I haven't had one since I was younger, but I hear they still make the best fried bologna sandwiches around. Pimento cheese and grilled cheese are available as well. Nothing much has changed with the structure of the place. It could used a make over. The young lady that took my order was friendly. Others prepping in the back seemed a little odd. I'm not a regular, anymore, so trying to figure out who I was. The food is still good. I grabbed a hot dog with chili, meant to say sausage dog which is really good. Also got a curly Burger and a barbecue sandwich with slaw for my parents. Dad wanted a pineapple shake and I got my usual vanilla shake. Everything was good of course I'll be back again.

The bomb! Classic ice cream joint that is neighborhood-oriented and consists, but isn't limited to, the following: Fast, friendly service. Great prices. Arcade games. Hot fudge topping. Pimento cheese fries. Buckets of chicken. Pump-top ketchup dispensers. Outdoor seating. Classic music in the indoor & outdoor seating. Occasional outdoor movies. Several dip-cone flavors. Kid food. Hangover food. Snack food. Worth all the dollars spent. Great memories are made here.
I love going to this place when i'm in the area. Amazing southern comfort food. Their french fries are the best I've had anywhere and I love their chocalate shakes and homemade cherry coke. The only issue I have is the staff isn't always friendly but the food is great!
One my favorite spots when I come to SC, the signature Curly Burger cannot be duplicated the chilli dogs are the best and the Homemade Milkshakes OMG!!! My fav is the gizzard basket Maaaaannnn talking bout HEAVEN!
